Making Contact With Spanish Schools And People

So what's the best way to make contact with these schools and Spanish teachers? Well there are a few resources online which can do a number of useful things.

I'd recommend that you get yourself a Spanish speaking pen friend. The way it works is that you exchange emails. You write to your Spanish pen friend in Spanish and they will correct your errors so you can learn from them. The same happens from them... they write to you in English and you correct any mistakes they may have made. In this way you can both learn from each other and you are both learning from native speakers of your target language.

This is also a great way to make new friends and contacts. Just don't go getting too many all at once or you'll struggle to keep up with the correspondence.

There are some pretty good online websites for learning Spanish. If you have the motivation there's no reason why you couldn't use an online course to teach yourself and many others have successfully done this. What would be ideal is to combine an online Spanish course with that of real 1-1 or class lessons giving you the best of both worlds.

You could decide that you want to enter into a full immersion course and actually go to study for a period of time in a Spanish speaking country. This could be for as little as 1 week or up to 1 year depending upon your circumstances. If you search for "Spanish language schools" along with the relevant country you're sure to come across many of them offering a high standard of tuition.
